Sprinter Christian Coleman is going to be qualified for following year’s Olympics and the month’s world championships after his case was dropped by the US Anti-Doping Agency .
Coleman faced a sanction for three’whereabouts failures’ within a 12-month span. That meant he did not fill out forms indicating police where he could be discovered, or else he wasn’t where he said he’d be if they arrived to examine.
June 6, 2018 but the World Anti-Doping Agency’s interpretation of the principle backdated his failure to April 1, 2018, rather than the date it happened. His final collapse was April 26, 2019. Because there weren’t 3 failures within 12 months it wouldn’t pursue the 17, USADA said.
“Consistent use of the global anti-doping principles is essential in every instance,” USADA CEO Travis Tygart explained.

We must approach every case with the main aim of delivering fairness to athletes under the rules and providing transparency and consistency to be able to build their trust and support for the anti-doping system”
USADA stated in 2019 and 2018, Coleman has given his whereabouts advice and has been tested by USADA on 20 separate occasions.
